When I went to play in Mannheim, in the German National League, I wore #17 for about a month before I moved to #25.  When my old friend - and now champion coach several times over - Harold Kreis was honored for having played some 18 years with the club, some 50-60 guys who had played in Mannheim were flown in to play before the adoring fans.  When I arrived, I found #17 sitting in my stall with my gear... here it is.
