Sweeping valleys, distant mountain ranges, thin air...
One thing that was VERY noticable - apart from the beauty - was the thin oxygen. On Day 1 we went from sea level to 10,200 feet! Effectively 2 miles high... After full 12 hours underway (from Miami Beach to Twin Lakes, Colorado), we found a little inn for the night to quite literally catch our breath!
