Skiing in Saint-Luc (Switzerland)
This is my sister's third child, Tessa, on the left in my Swiss ski teacher's arms, me and two ladies from my skiing group. Since my sister does not ski, she had asked me to take her kids skiing because Tessa had asthma. Not having any kids myself, I did not dare drive, so we spent the night in the train, Tessa, her sister Kim who was about 10 and her brother Kevin who must have been eight or nine. Tessa would not sleep because she was too excited to be away from her mother for the first time in her life. So finally, coming out of my highest couchette, I went laying with her in hers at one o'clock in the morning and since she still would not sleep, I said : "Tessa you must go to sleep now" but she answered very seriously : "But aunt Bea, this body does not want to sleep!" like : what are you talking about if the body does not want it... so little but so wise!
