Nautica Sobe Triathlon

The 6th annual SoBe Triathlon took place this morning, Sunday April 7th...I was there taking pictures, not participating sadly, but it was a blast no matter what! I've actually never seen this type of race in person and loved every minute of it (it lasted about 3 1/2 hours from start to the award ceremony).

The swim started at 14th Street and the race ended at 5th Street, at the southern tip of Lummus Park, where the award ceremony took place.

It was a great experience, one that I would not mind repeating as a participant...maybe next year?? We'll see...for the time being check out the photos in the album!

Go watch one of the very large races such as Ironman, Wildflower, etc. - and it will be you on the start line next year. Guaranteed. "If they can do it, so can I"! Start with a short, manageable distance such as Sprint or Olympic, and work your way towards the longer distances...
