About me
I am a freelance contemporary art curator who loves all things sport...not much watching it on TV but doing it myself! Grew up in Turin, Italy, going skiing (at first, then snowboarding since my early 20s) every weekend and loving it. Did a bit of waterskiing and wakeboarding over the years as well.
Have worked out my entire life, putting myself through university by working as a fitness instructor in Siena, Tuscany. After blowing both of my ACLs kickboxing, I picked up karate, training with the Koguma Dojo in NYC under Sensei Dave Anderson and loving it. Have been doing it for a couple of years and I am currently a green belt working on my purple.
Love to ride my Betty Davis (an 883 Sportster from 2004) with my husband Ron through the beautiful windy roads of Upstate NY; and kiteboarding in Bahia Salinas, Costa Rica, whenever we get to escape NYC in the wintertime...still lots of room for improvement there but working on it!
We recently re-located to South Beach, Miami, where we have the chance to rollerblade and jog on the beach and swim everyday (it's a dream)...and we'll get to kiteboard on a more regular basis as well and finally learn the sport properly!
