No snow for years, no rain this year, but ecological water system
You can see these pipes everywhere in La Gomera, in Tenerife, ... The Canarians are fully selfsufficient on water because, even though it is always warm and it did not rain at all this year : the pines take water out of the clouds (every pine "leaf" consists of three very long pins with which they take the water out of the clouds) : some of it the pines use for themselves, some goes in the earth and this is used by the people. The water we used for washing is recuperated, purified and then used for watering the grass etc.
