Tenerife and hiking up mount El Teide, starting with visiting La Gomera

Tenerife seen from the isle of La Gomera
Tenerife seems to be much younger geologically than La Gomera
Another wonderful view of Tenerife from La Gomera, inspite of the burnt wood...
You can see exactly till where the fire burned everything green down
The Isle of La Palma in the back
The population there actually whistles from one hill to the other to communicate!
La Gomera, Just outside where the lady was whistling after we had lunch
No one can make a bad picture of the Teide from this village in La Gomera!
One could live there with this view!
Beautiful how the clouds are often down the mountain
No snow for years, no rain this year, but ecological water system
Impressive I thought
Back in Tenerife, the next morning :
On a jeep safari to the plateau beneath the vulcano El Teide
El Teide from the plateau
This guy really surprised me!

Hé Cherian, thank you for your positive comment but these were just the first pictures of my first excursion in Tenerife, a whole day to the isle of La Gomera by boat and then travelling around the island of La Gomera there. You see the isle of Tenerife from La Gomera which indeed is very beautiful is it not? You can also see that there were a lot of fires and loads of trees were burned down, you could still smell it too. I hope to have the time today to put the other pictures of my actual climbing of the vulcano; the only thing of the climbing you see here is my new hiking shoes! Have a great day Cherian!
