Whereas twenty years back in time they had nothing but parrots, all kinds of parrots, now it had become a real zoo. These mountain gorilla's did not touch us as much as the ones we saw in the wild in Uganda when we had to go tracking a whole morning in the mountains in order to finally find them and then still walk all the way back. We were absolutely wild just thinking we were so close to this in fact dangerous animal. We got really closer than they promised us we would and only after an hour the guide said the big greyback was getting nervous and we should now go and leave him and his family alone : really unforgettable experience though! We did not get that same feeling here standing in between people photographing, lots of mothers and kids. We sort of felt sorry for the mountain gorilla not being in his mountains...
