I told the guide that my head was turning and he said I probably had mountain sickness, which I immediately denied. He said I probably felt like throwing up! I said no, not at all, it's probably from not having walked at my own pace, since we left too late in the morning, 10.30 am whereas I left the hotel before 7.30! There had been a breakdown of the bus. The fastest people had already left when I wanted to leave and the guide said : we are leaving in 15 minutes. I said OK, you will catch up with me in no time, I am leaving at my pace. I stopped when I met nice people (such as a German girl from Berlin, called Zinda, a nice Belgian couple, four nice English men,...) and asked them to make a picture, so the guide passed me by again. Later on he came back and asked me to wait for the last couple! I said I would not recognize them, instead of telling him that this was his job! If I had done what he wanted, I would not have gotten to the top since they did not make it there and the husband was really sour about it. I did make it to the top, despite of that guide from Neckermann! The Austrian guy from our group, who made this picture, had already eaten when I got there and immediately left after this picture.
