DAY 9 - Another stunning oak tree covered in Kudzu vine
The beautiful moss that covers trees and much more throughout the Southeast is called Kudzu vine and it is a transplant from Japan. Growing as much as 60 ft during steamy summers, kudzu is known to cover everything in its path - including trees, stop signs, and old barns.
