About me
Born and raised in NYC. A great lover of sports especially hockey. Not many kids from NYC can say that Why? There were no sheets for us to play on. When I was a kid, getting ice time was like winning the lottery. For some crazy reason my parents took me for ice skating lessons at 3. At 7 i started to play floor hockey and then back to the ice to start my long career of an amateur Hockey player.
Today in my early 40's Hockey still remains a major part of my life. I have some great stories and was very fortunate to meet some great guys in the NHL and become great friends. I also was apart of a great organization called Ice Hockey in Harlem which helped teach inner city kids about the sport and offered a great alternative to gangs and dangerous street life that stared them in the face every day. By staying in school and behaving, they got to play hockey- Trust me they loved this spot so much that they would do anything to play- Im honored to have been a part of that program for years. My NHL buddies were always great in supporting me there- some kids even got to skate at practice with the St Louis Blues and The Pittsburgh Penguins!!
I play on two mens league teams at Chelsea Piers as well as roller hockey whenever I can get out there.
I own a company I started 10 years ago. I live with my wife and our two amazing girls in Tribeca.
